Sanitary pads are unfortunately a luxury for girls of low income homes in Kenya. It’s time to do something about it. Together we shall be able to do something about it. As we look towards the 2nd initiative the target is to raise at least 1,050 packets of sanitary pads which shall be distributed to hopefully more than 350 girls. I know we can do it and we can make the difference for the girls, at least for the next few months.
I have so many interesting prospects coming up and i am sure many more will be coming up soon. I am doing my research on reuseable pads as well, hoping that somehow this can make things easier for the girls who are unable to afford the disposable ones.
Isn’t it great to push yourself to levels you never knew you could reach, more so the excitement when you reach the set targets? Love it!
