I met up with Jane yesterday (she helps coordinate the school girl forums for us) she was really excited about the outreach on 10th. It is actually being combined with the Music Festival function they have with 10 schools. I have a feeling i will be overwhelmed once we arrive there… i’m just saying 🙂
So we discussed the program which pretty much will start at 9.00am and end by 1.00pm, which woks perfectly for all the friends who have partnered with me this time round. May i say soo many more people have partnered this time round, many thanks to them.
I have to travel for work for the next few days, something that i didn’t want to do, but i have submitted everything to Him and truly it shall work out well. With all the organising i have to do, the last thing i had in mind was to be out of the country! I will be back on Friday morning, how i thank technology! I have been able to organise purchase of the sanitary pads as well as delivery, send payment via MPESA, make confirmations from the comfort of my phone! Thank God too for roaming services, what would we do without them? Thanks to Koki for all the help, superb!
Today i can say that so far we have recieved 405 packets of sanitary pads donations so its awesome. The target was 1,050 so i pray to come close, exactly 6 days to 10th Sept, lets make the sanitary pads difference for these Kenyan girls.
1,050 we will reach….I pray so! Time to rally more facebookers!
