Today is Budget day 2012 for Kenya.
The Minister of Finance has been carrying out readings in Parliament for most of the day. Most significant was mention by Minister of Finance, Hon. Githae: Kshs300m is to go towards provision of sanitary towels to girls from poor families. So far sanitary towels distribution by the Government of Kenya has enabled some form of ditribution to schools in the country. We are not sure how much sanitary towels distribution by the Government of Kenya has been implemented and to which schools. With time, we look forward to getting an update on sanitary towels distribution by the Government of Kenya as we move forward with our own sanitary towel distributions.
