Sanitary towels are to many young girls the most simple of consumer items that they need and use every month. Irrespective of race, color, location or status this is a life changing process that all women have in common.
Hopefully soon we shall make a difference to some girls somewhere as we plan our first donation initiative. Its the first of its kind that I have ever been involved in or organised, I’m pumped and pskyed ready to go. Many friends have been so supportive, without whom I would not be able to steam on ahead.
The Kenyan Prime Minister has demanded that sanitary towels be provided to government schools for free. This is a fabulous throw in the right direction, I pray and hope that this is implemented as soon as yesterday!
