Today marks one year since Path to Womanhood first began this initiative, crowned with the first post our very first blog. The time has flown rapidly and it is hard to imagine that 12 months have indeed come and gone. There have been ups and downs and plenty of good times in between. It all started out as nothing much and now we are looking forward to being able to touch even more lives with your help.
The issue is still growing and we thank the government too for the effort it has made. It’s the first time ever that the Kenyan government is getting involved in girls missing school for lack of sanitary towels. It will be challenging for them to keep it up and for them to make it sustainable with larger outreach. It is none the less a step in the right direction.
