2013 is here and we are excited. I must admit one of the best ways to start 2013 is with having a visit from one of our biggest supporters and partners all the way from Boston. Kathleen Bissonette of One for You One for Her. If you remember a while back I already talked about One for You One for Her, as we were able to give a very big donation to girls in school in Mukuru.
Though the stay will be short, all I can say is karibu! We look forward to doing a lot of ground working and getting a better understanding on how best to support girls missing school because of lack of sanitary towels. We will also be distributing annual supplies to girls in various schools!
Separately, Path to Womanhood this 13th Jan 2013 will be working and partnering with Panties with purpose and Young Women’s Leadership Institute to support the girls of Binti United Football Team. It’s very exciting, someone us know nothing about soccer but know everything about being a girl!
Please drop a line come join us on 13th as we plan how we supporting the Binti team for one year’s supply of sanitary towels and panties for 45 girls in total. 2013 they are totally covered, we love you for the kind generous support truly none of this would be possible without you.
