Making sanitary towels training was carried out on 4th and 5th Dec for the women at Shalom in Narok. Remember i mentioned the planning of this here
I recieved and email from Anna who was able to organise with us and coordinate it that the ladies get training in making reuseable sanitary towels. There has been a recognised need for providing sanitary towels, most especially because of affordability.
We love being able to partner in making sanitary towels, the more we spread the skill the better we curb this issue in a few years. This was the note from Anna:
“Just emailing to say thanks so much for organising everything so well for our training. The trainers you sent were awesome and a real blessing. The women here in Narok loved them. They were brilliant and very open about their lives, which of course helped the women we work with open up too.
The actual sanitary pad training was well organised and executed. The ladies will now get going on making them to sell around this area. I’ll let you know how it goes.
We might well get back in contact for more training requirements in future, especially in bead work.
