As the we enter into 2014 with excitement, its time we took things up a notch.
We have so far been growing with supporters and partners, truth be told many want to get more involved with our beneficiary girls especially those in Kajiado.
It has not been hard to realise that one of the key ways to impact a lot of the girls we support is through education. A simple yet impactful way. A lot of girls drop out of school for numerous reasons and so we are going to try get 20 back to school. Top of the reasons for the Maasai girls is early marriage, early teen pregnancy and inability to afford fees.
From our sanitary towel distributions to Olebeilbel here we realized that drop outs simply end up married off as teenagers, take care of households or end up in teen pregnancy scenarios – the family cycle NEVER changes.
