Born in 2002, Gladys is one of those people who always sees the glass half full. As she describes her life, she gives thanks to God for the far that He has brought her. She is a half Orphan who lost her father a few years ago. Her mother is unable to provide for her the life that she deserves, has no income, is unable to pay fees and sadly suffers from mental challenges which results in relatives taking advantage of her physically, mentally and verbally. Gladys moved to a rescue center based in Kajiado mid-2014 and dreams of going to school, dreams of some form of stability to enable her make more of her life.
Gladys has been studying at the rescue center, but longs to return to a normal school life. The rescue center are not able to support her on a long term basis due to financial strain.
