In partnering, we access more & we accomplish more

Aeolus Kenya Limited, KilaMwezi and Path to Womanhood have formed a partnership to address the issues faced by the girl child in Kenya.

The intention is to impact lives using measurable, sustainable and empowering tools of Energy, Education and Menstrual Health Management.

AKLWe have most recently become a part of the Social Impact Consortium for Aeolus Kenya Limited, a social impact energy and infrastructure development company based in Kenya that is dedicated, among other things, to organizing and supporting social impact organizations in Kenya by leveraging and tapping into its relationships with international and government aid organizations, private philanthropies and foundations, Direct Foreign Investment (DFI), private sector partners, and its own funding and leadership, government relations, and public relations capabilities and resources.

KilaMwezi is a Kenyan social enterprise dedicated to providing innovative, eco-responsible, affordable, sustainable, and culturally sensitive sanitary products. Primarily to young women and girls within marginalized communities in Kenya. KilaMwezi focuses on a combination of reusable and bio-degradable menstrual products as well as Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) education. The KilaMwezi Kit includes a location specific combination of The Bio-Degradable Banana Fibre Pad, The Medical Grade Silicon Menstrual Cup & The Washable Cotton Sanitary Pad. In addition, cotton underwear, soap, flannel and a bucket are included with the Kit to enable a girl manage her menstrual cycle for between 36 to 120 months at less than USD 10 per Kit.

We are really excited about this new partnership as we believe it will get us to where we need to be, working together with like minded teams.
