We have some exciting news to share.
For a long time we have been in partnership with One for You, One for Her to support one special lady.
Agnes was rescued from early marriage, and managed to get back to High School through the support from One for You, One for Her. In 2014 Agnes sat for her High school Kenya national examinations, which we shared here
Agnes had previously shared that one of her dreams was to become a teacher. Now this was quite a big dream because not a single person had ever finished high school in her entire family, both nuclear and extended combined.
Earlier this week we got the confirmation that Agnes has been accepted to one of the local colleges in Kajiado to undergo a Pre School Teacher Training Course. This is exciting and honestly we are ecstatic, truly makes us believe even more in what we are doing for all the girls in our Back to School Programme.
Agnes will be reporting mid April this year to start her College life, this is completely going to change everything for her family and her life.
