At long last we are reporting on the donation drop off for St. Elizabeth school. The donation was US$1,000 which in sanitary pads terms came to 2,000 packets.

This was courtesy of One for You, One for Her. The school was rennovated by a German government grant in September 2011 priori to which it was corrugated building. The headmistress Mrs. Maina recieved us with so much joy it was all worth the effort to get there. Prior to this we had no information about where exactly Mukuru kwa Njenga was.

The school was built in 1999 it was a shack out of corrugated sheets initially. It is a primary school with 1445 children, ranging from preschoolers to primary schoolers. There are a total of 673 girls and the ones of age in need of the sanitary towels were 401.
Blessings galore to all the One for You, One for Her supporters we would not have been able to do this without you, please know you have made a difference to a girls life in Mukuru kwa Njenga.
Suport our efforts and spread the word to someone you know!
