Today marks such a significant day for Path to Womanhood i’m almost bursting at the seams with excitement. We got communication this morning that we are officially registered with the Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) Coordination Board as a Foundation.
What does this mean:
- We can get started on significant activities which we had planned for 2012 but had somehow been kept on the back burner. We never thought it would take 3 months for the processing of the registration however it is now done. Thank you Lord it is only because of Your greatness that this has been a success.
- At long last we can now open our bank account, have our annual financial reports done, in this way being accountable to ourselves, our partners and friends, and the NGO Coordination Board
- We can approach many more partners, prepare proposals aimed at sustaining the causes we work for and present ourselves with confidence that we can get things done and we can make an impact
No matter how small our activities may be we are making a difference in at least one persons life directly and indirectly.
