Last post you met the first girl Yaipoyo who is going back to school with the support of One for you, One for her. Today we would like to introduce our second beneficiary of sponsorship Naserian.
She is 12 years old is in Class 1, Primary school. Similar to Yaipoyo as well, a very late age to be reporting to Standard 1 in Kenya. This is why… Naserian was rescued from early marriage and FGM. By no means is that ever easy! She is from a very poor family , has 16 siblings. Though she was rescued from early marriage, all of her elder sisters were victims of early marriage. To date the only other person in school in the family is her 15 year old brother. With Naserian getting the sponsorship to go back to school her opportunities have already expanded.
We wish both girls the very best as they return back to school this week!
